Tom is a systems engineer; he "does something with computers". He started making this website in the USA because he saw the puzzles on Ebay and other auction sites, and (like many others) loved it. In the USA he had only 10 MB at his disposal, but the site grew so big, that that was soon not enough anymore. That is the reason that eveything was brought to this website a few years ago.
