New Zealand:

Last year (in 2011) Holdson has published an anniversary pack for only the New Zealand market. The pack contained 3 puzzles among which a Jan van Haasteren: Circus Time.

Loes en Hans have been able to get such a pack via a relative who was in New Zealand at the time. And thanks to them you will find a picture of the box below, together with th Jumbo box. You can see that it is a small box, half as big as the original.

Popeye 1975

In 1975 apart from the series of six Popeye puzzles with 63 pieces King came out with 2 floor puzzles. Jan van Haasteren has made the images for posters, but without his knowledge King made two puzzles out of it, each with 16 large pieces.

JAPAN

From two fans who visited Jan van Haasteren (Anja en Rita - gekvanjvh) we heard the news, that in Japan his puzzles were already being produced as early as 1982. There was a series of at least 8 different images, but there might have been more. They have images of two boxes: nr 6 World Cup and nr 8 Gambler, images below.

New oldies:

On the page "all puzzles - by size - small" five old puzzles have been added; 3 puzzlecards from Bolletje Dutch rusk (10 pieces), an advertisement puzzle from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (200 pieces) an the original advertisement puzzle from DPD post (378 pieces)

New discovery:

From France Mitzi Parmentier wrote us about an edition that we don't know yet: Olympics, published by Diset in a Comic series.

New Discovery 2:

From Friesland (Anja en Rita) we received a picture of their new old puzzle. It is the original advertisement puzzle from Braas, a German roofing company. Later this puzzle was released by Jumbo as The Big Leak.

The puzzle has 500 pieces and is at the bottom of the page with 500 pieces puzzles.
